OmniHoney

Description: OmniHoney is an antiseptic cleansing tonic with a wide spectrum, hence the Omni designation. It is appropriate for acute maladies caused by bacteria or viruses, especially of the lungs, sinuses, and throat. It tastes great to most people, but is surprisingly strong tasting at first. It can be added to a cup of hot water or tea to use OmniHoney’s essential oils as an inhaler before drinking..

OmniHoney is Electroherbalism’s most popular product during cold and flu season. The main ingredient is extract of echinacea – both echinacea angustofolia root and purpurea tops, along with elder, calendula, yarrow, and other herb extracts with peppermint, eucalyptus, lemon, and orange essential oils in a base of honey. There is no other product like OmniHoney. It is based on an old naturopathic formula intended to treat all manners of illnesses including those caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites, but after one taste most people think “cold, sinus, lung, cough supplement” since it has such strong and immediate action in these areas.

Ingredients: Extracts of echinacea angustofolia root, echinacea purpurea, elder flowers, calendula flowers, chamomile flowers, yarrow flowers, white willow bark, dandelion root, and barberry root bark; honey; eucalyptus, peppermint, lemon, and orange oils; ascorbic acid, mixed tocopherols. 20% alcohol.

Directions: Shake well each use. Use ¼ to 1 teaspoon 1 to 3 times per day or more as needed. It may be taken in high dose as soon as an acute illness strikes, such as 1 teaspoon per hour for a few hours. Start with ¼ tsp or less at first to acclimate to strong taste.

Note: The alkaloids in OmniHoney herbs continue to react with the ascorbic acid to form a small amount of carbon dioxide after it is bottled. This is good since it displaces oxygen and greatly extends storage life, but it may make a small “pfft” sound when the bottle is first opened or after sitting a long period. Always shake well before use.

There are 48 half teaspoon servings per 4 oz bottle.
