OmniACT

Description: OmniACT is an antiseptic, cleansing herb tea powder designed to fight chronic and acute illnesses. Has a strong action against viruses and bacteria and is good for acute problems like colds and flu plus sinus, lung, or other infections. To start, it is best to make a batch of full strength tea and dilute it by at least half, then work up to higher strength if needed.

Ingredients: Echinacea angustofolia root and purpurea tops, calendula flowers, elderflowers, yarrow flowers, chamomile flowers, dandelion root, barberry root bark, and white willow bark

Directions: Put ½ to 1 teaspoon of the herb powder in a cup or more of boiling hot water and let steep before drinking. Add honey and/or lemon if desired (add a lot of each for sinus or lung problems). Filter herb powder out for less bitter taste, leave in for more effect. If using a filter on a regular basis, use a nylon or cloth one – no metal. Use one to three cups per day for maintenance, up to four to six cups per day for serious or acute illness. An easy way to make a batch at a time is to add 2 tablespoons to the carafe of a drip coffee maker, brew a full pot of water, steep at least 30 minutes, and pour into two one-quart jars, or add 1 TBS powder to a jar and pour hot water over to brew. Use hot, cold, or room temperature. OmniACT can be mixed with Mineral Ascorbates without brewing since the acids in the Ascorbates make the OmniACT herbs well absorbed. To do this, add a teaspoon or more Mineral Ascorbates to water and stir well ¼ to ½ tsp or more of OmniACT powder into it and let effervesce fully. Stir well again before drinking to suspend the powdered herbs (they won’t dissolve).
