Electroherbalism Colloidal Silver

Electroherblism’s Colloidal Silver is approximately 10ppm strength and an excellent value compared to brands which charge a high price for a yellow colored low voltage DC product made with deionized water. Using distilled water in a high voltage process is a much more difficult, time-consuming, and dangerous process which is why it is so hard to find among commercial products but absolutely necessary when the product will be used long term.

There is a lot of hype surrounding colloidal silver with some companies saying that colloidal silver cures almost every illness known to man. It works best for disorders of the intestinal and urinary tracts and only on bacteria, fungi, and viruses. It is usually not helpful against larger parasites. It is not well absorbed outside the intestinal tract unless it is held in the mouth for a minute before swallowing, or mixed in a cup of filtered water, or large amounts taken.

Used nasally, colloidal silver works well for many sinus disorders especially since chronic ones are usually fungal in nature. It can be used in a nebulizer for lung disorders, but some of the same benefit can be had by inhaling the mist from a fine mist sprayer. Colloidal silver excels as a topical treatment for burns and wounds, even open ones, and should be applied early and often to more quickly heal them. 

Another form of hype, or perhaps ignorance, is related to the purity of the silver used in the process of making colloidal silver. "Pure" silver comes in two types, fine and ultrafine. Fine is 0.999 (or 99.9%) pure. Ultrafine is 0.9999 (or 99.99%) pure. In reality, most fine silver is actually ultrafine and the silver seller just did not pay to have it assayed to this greater degree, so normally it is okay to use. However, to be sure of the quality, one uses 0.9999 fine silver. Note that some companies advertise their silver as 99.999% pure, which probably means they are just ignorant of how silver is assayed and they are actually using 0.999 silver, but it is misleading. An interesting exercise is to email them and ask whether their "99.999%" silver is 0.999 or 0.9999 silver.

Ingredients: Electroherbalism’s Colloidal Silver contains only 0.9999 ultra fine silver, approx 10ppm, in distilled water.

Directions: Use one teaspoon per day for maintenance, three teaspoons per day for illness. For acute problems, can be used at ½ tsp or more per hour. Mix serving in 8oz filtered or distilled water for best effect, or hold in mouth for 60 seconds before swallowing. Use nasally and topically as desired. Colloidal Silver contains 48 whole tsp or 96 half tsp servings per 8 oz bottle.
