Oregano Oil
Description: Oregano oil is a strong antiseptic used for bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections as well as inflammatory disorders caused by pathogens. Electroherbalism’s Oregano Oil contains equal amounts of three types of steam-distilled oregano oils mixed with grapeseed oil in a 1:4 ratio - the same strength as North American Herb's Oreganol™- but this unique formula provides both carvacrol and linalool with guaranteed potencies of oregano vulgare (for bacteria, viruses, and fungi), oregano dubium (for inflammation, bacteria, and viruses), and oregano onites (for parasites and neoplasm disorders like cancer). This combination of oils provides a mellow, earthy flavor compared to the sharp taste of plain oregano vulgare (or the hyssop oil used by North American) but it is still hot to the taste.
Oregano oil is an ideal supplement for travel. It is one of the best all around supplements to help combat or prevent infectious disorders in the smallest of packages. Electroherbalism Oregano Oil comes in a 1 oz dropper bottle.
Ingredients: Grapeseed oil; oregano vulgare, dubium, and onites oils; mixed tocopherols.
Directions: Shake before use. Mix one to ten drops in water or juice and use one to three times per day or more as needed. One drop may be taken on tongue at a time but it has a hot taste. Mixing in water greatly decreases the heat. Goes well with Electroherbalism’s Mineral Ascorbates formulas to boost their antiseptic effect.
Electroherbalism’s Oregano Oil can also be used topically in small amounts for conditions such as fungal, bacterial, or viral infections on the skin or nails, but should not be applied to mucous membranes, wounds, or broken or sensitive skin. Avoid eyes and lips when using oregano oil.
An excellent use for oregano oil is to brush teeth to help against tooth and gum problems. Wet toothbrush, apply a single drop of Electroherbalism Oregano Oil (with or without toothpaste), and brush as normal. Another use for Electroherbalism Oregano Oil is in a nasal wash to help against acute or chronic sinus conditions. To do this, fill a bathroom sink basin with water as warm as is comfortable on the face. Add a tablespoon of seasalt and a single drop of oregano oil, stir well, splash water up into nose, blow, and repeat as needed until nasal passages are clear.
