Mineral Ascorbates
Description: Mineral Ascorbates is an effervescent powdered drink mix with vitamin C plus bromelain, fructo-oligo-sacharrides (FOS, also known as inulin), lemon juice powder, vitamin B6, and the minerals calcium, magnesium, potassium, and zinc. When mixed in water, the Mineral Ascorbates bubbles as it creates mineral ascorbates, citrates, malates, and tartrates. It is useful to combat inflammatory disorders as well as serve as a daily maintenance vitamin C and mineral supplement. Since the minerals cause relaxation, it is excellent to take before bed, plus the vitamin C, magnesium, and bromelain reduce snoring. The vitamin C and minerals stimulate elimination and provide some detoxification and it is also a useful product for cleansing when taken in larger amounts. Mineral Ascorbates contains a good deal of inulin, also known as fructo-oligo-sacharrides. It is a sweet fiber that simulates beneficial bacteria production in the intestines.
The immune building and disease-fighting effects of the nutrients makes Mineral Ascorbates an excellent supplement for many infectious disorders, acute and chronic, as well as for degenerative conditions. Mineral Ascorbates is used as the base for a number of formulas for specific conditions, but the “plain” formula is excellent by itself and economical.
Ingredients: Mineral Ascorbates contains fifty 1 teaspoon (4.5g) servings per 8 oz canister, 25 per 4 oz canister, and contains the following per serving:
1500mg vitamin C
700mg inulin
400mg bioflavonoids
300mg magnesium
250mg bromelain
200mg calcium
115mg potassium
30mg sodium
25mg vitamin B6

Directions: Must be mixed in water or juice to let effervesce before use! Start with ¼ to ½ tsp (mixed in water or juice) one to three times per day and work up to the dose necessary to achieve desired results, ½ to 1 tsp once or twice per day. A good schedule for an intensive program is ½ tsp in the morning and 1 at night. For acute problems like cold, flu, or sinus infection, use ¼ tsp in a full cup of water every hour. Occasionally, invert closed canister and shake to evenly disperse since the powders settle over time.
